Liability Waiver

Here at Classique Dance Studios we aim to run empowering, friendly and inclusive classes where everyone has fun, feels safe and supported. We do our best to ensure every student is kept safe by teaching them correct form, supporting them as they learn, and giving them all the information they need to make informed decisions. Due to our classes being a ‘physical activity’, our insurance behoves us to have a waiver in place that warns of every possible worst case scenario, as with every other facility , or organisation, that teaches physical activities.If you have any queries or want to know more about our platinum safety record, please just drop us an email and we'll be happy to talk this through with you. 

 

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the activities and programmes of Classique Dance Studios and to use the facilities and equipment owned and/or under the control of Classique Dance Studios, in addition to the payment of any fee or charge, I do hereby waive, release and forever discharge Classique Dance Studios , from any and all responsibility or liability for injuries or damages resulting from myself /my child’s participation in any activities or use of equipment, or facilities in the mentioned physical activities, that I have booked and paid for. I understand and I am aware that strength, flexibility and aerobic exercise, including the use of equipment, are potentially hazardous activities. I also understand that exercise and fitness activities involve a risk of injury, and that I/my child is voluntarily participating in these activities and using equipment and facilities with the knowledge of the dangers involved. I hereby agree to expressly assume and accept all and any risks of injury. I am aware that I or my child has the right to request advice from the instructor at Classique Dance Studios, at any time in relation to the activities and exercise being undertaken and, but not exclusively, their suitability for me/my child, with particular regard to my/my childs health. If I/my child chooses not to take advice, or to disregard any advice so given, I do so voluntarily and accept liability for all resulting injuries or damage. I do hereby declare myself or my child to be physically sound and suffering from no condition, impairment, disease or infirmity or other illness that would prevent participation or use of equipment or facilities. I acknowledge that I/my child have either had a physical examination and have been given my doctors permission to participate, or that I have decided to participate in activity and use of equipment and machinery without the approval of my doctor and do hereby assume all responsibility for my/my childs participation and activities, and utilisation of equipment and machinery in my activities. In addition Classique Dance Studios cannot accept responsibility for valuables left in our studio spaces. 

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your booking. We do not offer refunds we can only move you to the next available space. If the lesson is not cancelled in this time frame and we have not received payment, full payment is still required .

 

Privacy Policy

Photos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes. You will be asked to fill in a par q form when booking your class to ask if you give permission or not.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Zero Tolerance to Bullying:

We at Classique run a rule of ZERO tolerance of bullying. No matter how small and it can be in any shape or form. If someone gets upset by your actions whether it be looks,  hurtful words, physical, mental etc. it is a form of bullying no matter what purpose. 

 

If anybody in our lessons feel intimidated or bullied in any way shape or form it is to be reported and addressed in this lesson. I nominate Mylo and Indie S as buddies. If your child feels upset about anything they are to come to me or these two persons. 

 

All issues will be addressed at the end of the lesson with all students involved (not the buddies). 

 

I’ve been at the receiving end of bullying hence why I’ve moved around dance schools. This got to the point of where I then trained on the mainland. 

 

I am conscious all the time , because I am passionate that my dance school is for making friends, taking part in new opportunities, having fun and keeping fit. We are a team. We are Classique tribe and most importantly we are happy. 

 

To date, I have never ever had bullying in my school. As newbies join my school i will ensure to re emphasise my policies regards bullying. 

 

I don’t encourage parents to sit and watch unless it is a first session due to distractions. I find it also helps my students gain confidence , independence and resilience.
